Making her solo debut, datadata comes straight out the gate with 'OKAY'- a cheeky nod to the witty and spicy productions of UK club and acid. Chopped and screwed samples of a self-recorded vocal are interwoven with skittering breaks and a venomous acid bassline, leading into a verse sharp enough to trip up any fuckboy on the dancefloor.

datadata is a DJ, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Brooklyn. Her musical ethos is rooted in presence, community and connection, whether it be through uplifting afrobeats, electro chuggers, or acid house bangers. Her sets shift effortlessly beyond genre’d expectations, which keeps the listener on their toes.
She originally got her foothold in indie rock and audio production in the early 2010s, producing records, composing soundtracks, and playing in various bands- including her own live electronic three piece Operator Music Band. Since the start of her DJ career, she’s been able to jump in full force into the New York dance scene, working on her own productions and playing clubs like Bossa Nova Civic Club, Mood Ring, Mansions, and the hall at Elsewhere. Her mixes have been featured on on The Lot Radio (NYC), Refuge Worldwide (Berlin), Radio AlHara (Palestine), and Voices Radio (London).
